Theme
The theme of my portfolio is an airplane, because there are main points in the flight of the aircraft. The beginning of the year for me is the take off when I am starting off the year and preparing myself for everything. The next part is the apex of the flight where the airplane is at its highest part. I am in the middle of the year I got the hang of things and starting to get towards the decent. Then there is the landing where I have done everything right and it is also the end.
Composing Domain
I tend to stick to my main idea now and don't go off topic as much. This is a good thing because I don’t have to revise my paper as much. I tend to explain myself more now and give a better response. The responses I now do run together better and make more sense when you are reading it. Now I have learned how to better brainstorm my writing so it will look a lot more thought out.
Written Expression domain
My tones in my resent essays are a lot different than before. They used to have no theme or anything they would be boring and bland but now they are extravagant. My sentences used to all be the same length either short or long but now they are either short medium or long. Now I can write essays not in the passive voice.
Usage/Mechanics Domain
This year has been a big accomplishment for me. My grammar has improved so much from the beginning of the year. My spelling has improved a lot because my vocabulary has grown. I now know when to use commas and colons in my essays. My favorite essay is my book talk about Someone Named Eva.
